Hosted by Istanbul Nişantaşı University and organized in collaboration with the Iranian Nutrition Research Institute, the “1st International Bee and Beekeeping Industry Conference” has become a significant platform for strengthening the exchange of knowledge and experience while encouraging sectoral cooperation.
The conference was attended by Mr. Ahmad Mohammadi, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Istanbul; Mr. Cengiz Karabulut, Deputy Governor of Istanbul; and Mr. Suat Parıldar, Director of the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry.
In the opening speeches, the strategic importance of the beekeeping sector was highlighted in terms of sustainable development, food security, and environmental balance.
